Yeah somebody or someone like me need a small piece of papper which put on computer or laptop on office desk. Or sometime stick it on monitor edge to remember what to do today or short message from work partner to complete the team task. Some of Linux application available to change this behavior become papperless. Here are great application i found :

1. KNotes

Since i’m using KDE, i try to found it first. Knotes is the default sticky note app in Linux KDE desktop. It is highly configurable and comes with plenty of features not found in any other apps.
KNotes is actually part of the KDE PIM suite and an integrated component of Kontact

2. Sticky Notes

This is for Gnome user. Sticky notes is a simple app and it is easy to use. On the sticky note itself, you can also toggle the lock to prevent accidental deletion of the note content. You can configure the background color, font color and the default width and height. While it is simple and short of features, it still can perform its task well, and one good thing is that it integrates well with the Gnome desktop and can access to the language library of the system.

There is also third party application which recommeded to explore such as Xpad, 4. Pin ‘em up and Tomboy Notes

Here i prepare to use KNotes on my KDE Linux.
